   Unisom worked. This particular Unisom (the tablet form) has doxylamine succinate which is an antihistamine. The Unisom Maximum Strength (in gel form) contains Diphenhydramine HCl,which I read somewhere is stronger than doxylamin succinate.

   PRO: It really works! Within 30 minutes, I felt drowsy.
   
   CON: I still felt drowsy the next morning. I remember the drowsiness went away around noon.

   To compare, Nyquil has 6.25 mg of doxylamine succinate per 15 ml. Unisom has 25 mg.

   As with all drugs, I only use this for occasional sleeplessness.
